Botanical Breeze 2 is an elegant, sweeping study of foliage caught mid-movement. Long stems of leaves fan out across the canvas in warm rust, olive green and golden yellow, gathering toward a single deep red bud at the upper right. The whole arrangement seems to lean and drift, as if stirred by a passing breeze.
Julie Tugwell sets this graceful tangle against a soft, atmospheric ground of misty teal and pale turquoise, clouded with grey and touched here and there with warm ochre.
